Saima Ahmed - Question 7 : Looking Back At Your Preliminary Task , What Do You Feel You Have Learnt In The Progression From It To The Full Product?
When looking back to the 'Preliminary Task', we were taught about the 180 degree rule, which made us more aware of the boundaries of the movement of the camera and the angles, our 'Preliminary Task' was based on the 180 degree, the idea that there is a line a boundary between two characters, and we should not cross the line to make it make more sense however at any point and if you cross the line you must show the full turning while filming, so it does not confuse the audience when watching.
I have picked up many useful skills, from the 'Preliminary Task' for example being able to potion the camera, and use a tilt shot more effective shot, and while gaining these skills have used it in my production work throughout, for example continuity shot, which allowed us to show the character in many different angles,we also did 'test shots',to perfect each shot.
another skill which was very useful when filming was shot reverse shot is a technique where one character is shown looking at another character and the character is shown looking back at the first character, the viewer then assumes that they are looking at each other. we have used this in our 'Production Work'.

Saima Ahmed - Question 6 : What Have You Learnt About Technologies From the Process Of Constucting This Product?
Blog
the Blog allowed us to share all our research and thoughts and becomes evidence of the build up of our production work, it allows us to keep things organized and you can easily post you ideas and research that has been carried out, you can see what has been posted and you can easily see You Tube clips as well as easily upload them along with pictures.
photoshop
we used photoshop to create a production logo and the steps , are shown in the picture , we merged together two pictures and then edited the size potion and then changed the font which was appropriate for our final product.over all we came out with a good product the later edits were done in iphoto.
You Tube
we used You Tube , as it allowed us to upload all our production work so that we could then put it on our blog , it also allowed us to annotate our work to show real evidence of what we achieved. we were also able to keep track of all the movies that were uploaded and it was easily accessible from our blog which was very handy.
iphoto
we used iphoto to edit the production logo so we , changed the colour and darkness and we vignetted it black , so that it would look mysterious and it also made the production logo look very appealing and professional, iphoto helped us a lot along side photoshop and allowed us to create the perfect production logo for a production work.
HDimovie
when editing our production work ,we were able to use many of the features of HDimovie,we was able to rewind all out shots and use effects to entwine two shots and we able to split shots into the perfect shop,it was also very easy for us to share our film and post it on to You Tube so that we could place it on our blog. we also found it easy to upload our filming from the camera.
Prezi
i used prezi to answer some of the evaluation questions , it is an easy and more interactive way of view the answers, it allows you to make you answer more appealing to those reading and is also easy for the user to create allow paths so the reader can follow through the answer quickly
in our production work, we used a video camera, tripod and tracking tracks so that each shot we did came out smooth and gave clean cut edges, the tracking tracks helped up keep at the same pace as our character while having a smooth continuous shots which made the production piece look amazing.
Itunes
i tunes allowed us to import the music from the site and to hear over them so we knew which one we would use in our final production work , once we had choose the best background soundtrack we imported it into the I movie HD
Google
Google allowed me to conduct many searches , from all my logo pictures to accessing ''Free play music'' and the ''Blog'' it also allowed me to do product research on thrillers and look at opening scene and it because a big part of the prodcution work without it , things would have been much more difficult.
Free Play Music
Free play music , gave us a variety of music to choose from , when deciding which soundtrack we would use on our production work , we ended up using a piece by Patrick James. and this worked well with our end product as it created suspense throughout the production work.
Saima Ahmed - Question 5 : How Did You Attract/Adress Your Audience ?
Similarities with other movies
our product is very similar to Alfred Hithcock 'Birds' and we have similar characters to 'Saw' directed by James Wan.
In the film produced to Alfred Hithcock 'Birds' The Screen shots Are Very similar To 'Trust no One' produced by Saima , Shadia And Hanadi. As you can see below that we have done something similar, however we have done it from the victim to the attack , and Alfred Hitcocok has done the opposite from the lady to the victem. and vary from diffrent screen shots.
In the film 'Saw' produced by James Wan, we had similar
protagonist, and anti- hero's as they both work on the force of good however they both feel the need to take the law into there own hand and kill inoccent people.
Saima Ahmed - Question 4 : Who would Be The Audience For Your Media Product ?
Who We Have Aimed Our Production At?
who were aiming at and Why ?
we aimed our product to teenager 15+ we did this because we noticed that teenagers at this age have more freedom and less responsibility and therefor have more time for social activity's and going out with Friends and so this leads to a bigger audience of children.
Rating's
when doing our product research our research was targeted at 15 years old all the way to 18 year old however mainly 17 year old's and from our research we realised that we should target along the lines of a 15 rating which would mean we would have to be very cautious of the ASA guidelines so that it does not distress our audience when they watch it.
